Paul Tebben Presents at Spertus

On Tuesday, October 06, Paul Tebben of Ellipsis and Mike Newman of SHED Studio presented to a group of students in the Landmark Room of the Spertus Institute.  The lecture and the subsequent building tour was a behind-the-scenes look at the complexities of designing and coordinating a multi-functional building.  The students were given a sneak peak at the inner workings of this LEED Silver building, designed by Krueck + Sexton Architects with whom Paul worked from 2005-2008.  The ten story building, completed in 2007, includes a variety of functions including museum/exhibit spaces, event spaces, classrooms, offices, retail, auditorium, lab, commercial kitchen and library.

We were very grateful to the amazing staff at Spertus for their hospitality in hosting us for our annual visit to the building.
